I love romance books, always have. They are an escape of sorts. I shy away from books that offer an overly realistic portrayal of life, where endings can be tragic, sad, and sometimes unfulfilling. To me, books are like artwork or music, slightly cleansed version of the world and sometimes complete fantasies.

 

A bit of my life can be seen throughout my novels. I believe it's that way for most novelists. I live. I laugh. I cry. I experience life and those observations leak into my writing. Parts of me are in each character, some have more of me than others.
